A little more about me

Born and raised in St Andrews, I worked locally in golf management before retiring. Married with two children and three grandchildren, I’m proud to follow in the footsteps of my late father, Dennis Macdonald, who served as Chair of the Community Council in the early 1980s. Having lived and worked here all my life, I want to give back by supporting residents, students, businesses, and community groups, helping keep St Andrews a world-class place to live and visit. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, gardening, walking, swimming, dancing, and volunteering with local groups.
