An evening on the Himalayas
–
Friday 15th August, saw us hold our annual Putting Competition where a crowd of 69 people attended. It was a lovely evening with some great scores recorded and in fact there had to be a play off for the Victory Cup (male trophy) between the winner Peter Milne and longtime participant Dennis Martin.
The Andra Kirkaldy (ladies trophy) was won for a second year by Jutta Rosendahl. These winners all brought in scores of 40.
Chris Hilton (44) successfully beat off competition to retain the Community Councillor Quaich from fellow Councillors.
Our Youth Quaich was won by Marnie Thompson.
We would like to give our thanks to the Ladies Putting Club for the use of the facilities and to Graham who was on duty on the night, as well as to all who supported this event.
