Community facilities in St Andrews are under pressure. Many buildings are quickly bought by developers or the University, leaving limited spaces for public use. This plan seeks to identify and protect key community assets, ensuring that they remain accessible for residents.

A feasibility study will be conducted to identify buildings that could be repurposed for community use, with an emphasis on meeting places, sports facilities, and cultural spaces. Playparks in Lade Braes, Scooniehill, and other locations will be upgraded to provide better spaces for children and young people.
